DJ Carter
Our principal has served schools, churches, non-profits, daycares and communities as a tutor, floater, teacher, nutrition manager, chief executive officer, chaplain, executive pastor, consultant, supervisor & professional speaker for over 20 years.
He has been married to Sarah since 2010, and she has worked at ReadyKids for the last 10 years. They have 3 biological children—Deacon, DeAnna & Daniel—but their home has been a refuge and revolving door for people experiencing foster care, housing instability, homelessness, etc. for almost 15 years.
DJ is a veteran who loves to cook, sing, dance, get things accomplished and talk about the Bible. He established Pastoral LLC in 2020 and became the Pastor of Covesville Baptist Church in 2025.

Pastoral LLC was founded to cultivate partnerships and create strategic plans that compassionately address challenges or problems for people who live in the country.
Pastoral will manage all finances and establish systems to enable the proper supervision, protection and well-being of all children enrolled in the childcare program. It will also ensure that the Academy meets all local and federal regulations connected to education, nutrition, parent engagement, training, reporting, etc.
